Omron Announces Representative Director Changes
Following a resolution at a Board of Directors meeting held today, Omron Corporation (TOKYO:6645)(ADR:OMRNY) announced several Representative Director changes. A formal decision regarding the changes (outlined below), will be made following approval at an Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in June of this year and a subsequent Board of Directors meeting.

| Omron's new 10-year long-term strategy will come into effect in April 2011. |
| It was decided that a new management regime would be necessary to ensure rapid implementation of this new strategy. |
