Olema Appoints Jason O'Byrne As CFO

(RTTNews) - Olema Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OLMA), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, on Thursday appointed Jason O'Byrne as Chief Financial Officer.

O'Byrne brings more than two decades of finance and global operations experience joins the company from Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (VIR), served as executive vice president and CFO.

The appointment comes as Olema prepares for pivotal data from its OPERA-01 trial and a potential first commercial launch.

Shane Kovacs departed as Chief Operating and Financial Officer on January 30, with CEO Sean Bohen serving as interim Principal Financial Officer until Jason O'Byrne was appointed CFO.

In the pre-market trading, Olema Pharmaceuticals is 1.15% lesser at $10.32 on the Nasdaq.

In the pre-market trading, Vir Biotechnology is 0.89% higher at $9.04 on the Nasdaq.
