Oceaneering Int'l Q3 Profit Rises, Narrows 2014 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Oceaneering International, Inc. (OII) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $124.34 million or $1.16 per share, up from $104.41 million or $0.96 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $973.09 million from $853.30 million in the same quarter last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimate earnings of $1.13 per share on revenues of $995.17 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings in a range of $0.94 to $0.99 per share. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $1.04 per share.

For fiscal 2014, the company now expects earnings of $3.95 to $4.00 per share, compared to that prior outlook in the range of $3.95 to $4.05 per share. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $4.02 per share for the year.

For fiscal 2015, the company initiated earnings guidance in the range of $4.10 to $4.50 per share, while analysts currently project $4.60 per share.

The company declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.27 per share, payable December 19 to shareholders of record on November 28, 2014.
