NTT Communications' Prepaid SIM For JAPAN Adds 7-day Option - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - NTT Communications Corp., the data and IP services arm of telecom firm NTT (NTT) announced Friday a fast, convenient LTE prepaid data service, "Prepaid SIM for JAPAN". The service is to allow short-term business travelers and tourists visiting Japan to enjoy up to 100MB of data per day under a new seven-day plan, as well as the existing 14-day plan.

The list price, excluding 8 percent tax, is 2,980 Japanese yen, and the payment currency depends on location. Maximum volume would be 100 MB per day, and maximum speed would be for download: 150 Mbps and for upload: 50 Mbps.
