Nimble Storage Q3 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Nimble Storage, Inc. (NMBL) reported a net loss for the third quarter of $28.4 million or $0.39 per share, compared to a net loss of $10.1 million or $0.48 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding ite, adjusted loss per share for the latest quarter was $0.15.

Revenue for the third quarter jumped 77% to $59.10 million from $33.41 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.16 per share on revenue of $57.75 million for the third quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking forward to the fourth quarter, the company forecasts revenue of $65 million to $67 million and adjusted loss of $0.14 to $0.15 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to report a loss of $0.13 per share on revenue of $64.32 million for the fourth quarter.
