Nielsen Prices $750 Mln Of Senior Notes

(RTTNews) - Nielsen N.V. (NLSN) said Friday that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries, Nielsen Finance LLC and Nielsen Finance Co., priced $750 million aggregate principal amount of 5.00% senior notes due 2022 in a private offering.

The total size of the offering of the Notes has been increased from $650 million to $750 million. The Notes are anticipated to be issued on February 25, will mature on April 15, 2022, unless earlier redeemed or repurchased.

Nielsen plans to apply the net proceeds of the offering to make repurchases of its outstanding common stock from time to time, in the open market or otherwise, pursuant to its existing share repurchase programs, to reduce outstanding amounts under its revolving credit facility, to pay related fees and expenses, and for general corporate purposes.
