New Oriental Education & Technology Group Bottom Line Climbs 7% In Q1

(RTTNews) - New Oriental Education & Technology Group (EDU) revealed a profit for its first quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $141.94 million, or $0.90 per share. This was higher than $132.29 million, or $0.84 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 16.5% to $534.07 million. This was up from $458.49 million last year.
