New Consumer Electric Vehicle Website Launches at Los Angeles Auto Show

Southern California Edison (SCE) will join The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) in launching GoElectricDrive.com, EDTA’s new, comprehensive website that provides consumers with information about buying, owning and driving plug-in electric vehicles. |

The EDTA is a trade association representing battery, plug-in, hybrid and fuel cell electric drive technologies and infrastructure. EDTA conducts public policy advocacy and education, and its membership includes automotive and other equipment manufacturers, energy companies, technology developers, component suppliers and government agencies. | |||
At www.sce.com/pev, SCE customers can find the utility’s online "Plug-In Car Rate Assistant.” It helps estimate the cost of fueling an electric vehicle and how that impacts their electricity bills. |

On Wednesday, Nov. 17 as well as Thursday, Nov. 18, SCE experts will be available for interviews at the utility’s Los Angeles Auto Show booth in the West Hall Lobby to discuss SCE’s important role in the plug-in electric vehicle fueling process. Interviews also can be arranged with SCE executives prior to and after the Los Angeles Auto Show. |
