Carl Cederschiöld has been appointed new Chief Executive of Handelsbanken Fonder AB by the board of the company.

He currently works as Chief Executive of Xact Kapitalförvaltning and will thus leave this position.

He will be taking up his new position on 1 January 2016.

Handelsbanken Fonder AB’s operations include management of seven exchange-traded funds (ETFs) under the XACT brand. All these funds are listed for trading on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. NASDAQ OMX Stockholm’s issuer regulations prescribe that appointment of chief executives of fund management companies which manage ETFs must be made public.
