Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation Receives New ProMaster Van as AutoNation Celebrates 11 Million Vehicles Sold

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), America's largest automotive retailer, is celebrating a record-breaking 11 million vehicles sold by thanking its community partners and customers, those who made this momentous occasion possible. In 11 markets from coast to coast, the company is surprising 11 customers by handing them the keys to their vehicles, payment free.

Being a loyal AutoNation customer paid off for Kathyrn Braune and Mike Moran this week when the management team at AutoNation Buick GMC West Sahara and AutoNation Buick GMC Henderson handed each of them the keys to the brand new vehicles they had planned to purchase, payment free.

On Wednesday, May 24^th, also in celebration of the company's historic milestone, AutoNation donated a ProMaster Van to the Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation at The Caring Place in Las Vegas. The Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation serves cancer patients living in Southern Nevada who are unable to afford the essentials of daily living while they undergo their treatment. This foundation was established to lessen the financial burden on patients and their families.  Through AutoNation's partnership with the Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation, more than $40,000 has been raised for the cause as well as a series of Public Service Announcements discussing the importance of early detection and prevention.
