NetGear Inc. Reports 1% Gain In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - NetGear Inc. (NTGR) reported earnings for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $26.16 million, or $0.81 per share. This was up from $25.91 million, or $0.76 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.68 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.0% to $355.48 million. This was up from $338.46 million last year.
