NDS Partners with VBox and Cyberlink to Deliver the First Fully Converged TV and PC Platform to 'Yes'

NDS (NASDAQ:NNDS), the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that it is working with VBox Communications (VBox), Cyberlink and 'yes' to deliver on the promise of convergence – enabling the ubiquitous PC to become a secure and full-featured media center. At IBC, the companies will come together to demonstrate the integrated solution. The demonstration includes a DVB-S tuner from VBox integrated with the NDS VideoGuard PCTM software – protecting the content – along with Cyberlink’s PowerCinemaTM, the popular entertainment software for PCs. The converged offering means that 'yes' subscribers can choose from a very broad range of premium content that can be securely delivered to their PCs for viewing.
