NDS Announces the Successful Launch of Educational 'Sesame Street Games' on Cablevision's iO: Interactive Optimum(R) Digital Cable Service

NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digitalpay-TV, in partnership with Cablevision Systems Corp., announced todaythe successful launch of Sesame Street Games now available toCablevision's iO digital cable customers throughout the New Yorkmetropolitan area. In collaboration with Cablevision and SesameWorkshop, NDS played a lead technology role in the design anddevelopment of this groundbreaking interactive games service. Thegames, created for children two to five years old, enable kids tointeract with the beloved Sesame Street characters, while learningshapes, colors, numbers, letters and other basic skills.

Sesame Street Games offer a very simple but effective design toenable young children - either alone or along with their parents - toplay and learn with the Sesame Street characters.

"These games offer a new opportunity for children to learnfundamental skills for children ages two to five years old," saidJeffrey Fleishman, assistant vice president of business developmentfor Interactive Media, Sesame Workshop. "Children can learn andinteract with the Sesame Street characters without the need for acomputer or separate gaming device. We think children and theirparents will really embrace this interactive capability as a great newlearning tool."

The launch of these games follows on the very successfulinteractive games which NDS has created for other major kids'television brands.
