Nava Health and Vitality Center Unveils Brand New Service Package Specially Designed for Runners and Athletes

WASHINGTON, April 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nava Health & Vitality Center, an integrated health care center in the greater Baltimore-Washington area, unveiled today NavaRace, a new package of Nava services designed for competitive athletes, in conjunction with a partnership with Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE), a sports event marketing company.

The package includes six weeks of chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, hyperbaric and IV therapies prior to a race, as well as two services the day-of and one week post-race. Designed by Nava Medical Advisor and former NCAA Division I Track & Field champion Mark Sivieri, M.D., the NavaRace Package aims to help runners and athletes reach their peak performance.

The Nava Health & Vitality Expo will present a series of on-site activations to introduce race participants and community members to Nava's distinct approach to helping runners and athletes achieve optimum performance.

Following the races, The Nava Recovery Zone will offer post-race massages, rapid recovery IV therapy — specially formulated to increase hydration, vitamins and amino acids — and trainers from gymGO, a virtual personal training app, to assist with proper cool down and stretching techniques. Runners are encouraged to schedule in advance their on-site massage or IV therapy, as those receiving IV therapy will also need to complete a short consultation with a nurse practitioner.

An overall health assessment is advised for runners to achieve peak performance long-term; however, NavaRace is available as a stand-alone offering for $950, a $1,800 value.
