National Fuel Gas Co. Q4 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - National Fuel Gas Company (NFG) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $57.4 million or $0.68 per share, up from $47.8 million or $0.57 per share last year.

Operating revenues rose to $366.6 million from $338.9 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.58 per share on revenues of $403.41 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Moving ahead, the company now expects full-year 2015 earnings of $3.05 to $3.35 per share, down from prior outlook of $3.30 to $3.60 per share. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $3.44 per share for the year.
