MTS Systems Q2 Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - MTS Systems Corporation (MTSC) Monday reported second-quarter profit of $7.78 million or $0.50 per share, down from $11.06 million or $0.69 per share in the same period last year.

Revenues improved to $137.34 million from $136.92 million last year.

Looking ahead to the fiscal 2014, the company has lowered its adjusted earnings outlook to a range of $3.35 to $3.50 per share from its previous guidance range of $3.55 to $3.70 per share.

Revenues are currently projected in a range of $580 million to $590 million, down from its prior guidance range of $585 million to $605 million.
