Monsanto Co. Reports 20% Retreat In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Monsanto Co. (MON) revealed earnings for third quarter that declined compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $0.96 billion, or $2.17 per share. This was down from $1.20 billion, or $2.51 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.5% to $4.19 billion. This was down from $4.58 billion last year.
