Mohawk Industries Inc Profit Advances 42% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Mohawk Industries Inc (MHK) announced earnings for its first quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $176.99 million, or $2.38 per share. This was up from $124.97 million, or $1.70 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 15.4% to $2.17 billion. This was up from $1.88 billion last year.
