MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ: MOBL), the security backbone for modern computing, announced today that is has received certification approval by the US Department of Commerce to the new EU-US Privacy Shield Framework program.

The EU-US Privacy Framework was developed by the US Department of Commerce and the European Commission to provide a legal transfer mechanism for the transfer of personal data from the European Union to the United States.
