MicroStrategy Inc. Q3 Income Advances 11%

(RTTNews) - MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) released a profit for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $26.63 million, or $2.31 per share. This was up from $23.89 million, or $2.06 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.80 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.3% to $129.90 million. This was up from $129.54 million last year.
