Mercialys Wins the BREEAM Award 2015 in the "Retail” Category for its La Caserne de Bonne Center

At the 2015 BREEAM Awards ceremony in London on March 3, Mercialys (Paris:MERY) won the BREEAM Retail In-Use award for its La Caserne de Bonne shopping center in Grenoble.

Each year, the BREEAM Awards recognize the BREEAM-certified operations from the previous year that achieved the best scores and demonstrated their exemplary approach for each theme in each phase of the project. The BREEAM Awards are the most prestigious international awards for a building’s environmental features.

La Caserne de Bonne has stood out by becoming the world's first shopping center to be certified BREEAM In Use "Outstanding” – the highest possible level – in both the asset and building management categories.

This award recognizes the committed approach from the design stage on this project, which is located in the heart of France's first eco-district, further strengthened by the commitment and dedication shown each day by Mercialys' teams on sustainable development-related issues, aiming to provide shoppers with comfortable, healthy and environmentally-friendly facilities and surroundings.
