Mellanox Results Tops Estimate; Outlook Strong

(RTTNews) - Mellanox Technologies Ltd (MLNX), a supplier of end-to-end interconnect solutions for servers and storage systems, Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $428 thousand or $0.01 per share compared with a loss of $5.9 million or $0.14 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.38 per share compared with earnings of $0.28 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $120.7 million compared with $104 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.26 per share on revenues of $116 million for the quarter . Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects revenues of $133 million to $137 million, while analysts expect $129.3 million.
