Mediabistro Announces Nancy Hill, AAAA; Marko Ahtisaari, Dopplr; and Ralph Simon, MEF to Keynote ThinkMobile Conference

Mediabistro.com (a division of Jupitermedia Corporation, Nasdaq: JUPM) announced today that Nancy Hill, President-CEO of AAAA and Marko Ahtisaari, CEO and Co-Founder, Dopplr have joined the ThinkMobile keynote speaker lineup. ThinkMobile: Mobile Content & Marketing Strategies will take place March 18-19, 2009 in New York City at the New Yorker Hotel. Matthew Snyder, CEO and Founder of ADObjects, Inc. will serve as Conference Chairman.

"We are excited to have Nancy Hill and Marko Ahtisaari on board for the ThinkMobile show this March," said Jupitermedia CEO Alan Meckler. "2008 was a pivotal year for mobile. The marketplace became flooded with advanced content consuming devices. New applications and web experiences emerged daily. Business models developed in mobile advertising, mobile search, and location-based social media. ThinkMobile will be the destination for key mobile players to continue this conversation and realize business opportunities for advancement in 2009."

Nancy Hill and Marko Ahtisaari will be joined on the keynote roster by Ralph Simon, CEO of the Mobilium Advisory Group and Chairman Emeritus and Founder of the Mobile Entertainment Forum. Simon will lead a keynote session offering stories of successful, money-making applications in 2008. Other panelists in this session will include Joel Comm, creator of iFart Mobile and Raven Zachary, creator of the Obama ’08 application.

The conference program will also feature speakers representing Nokia, AOL, Yahoo!, Microsoft Advertising, iCrossing, CBS Radio, Associated Press, and more. Sessions will cover creating business models, mobile apps, new media in mobile, monetization strategies, and brand presence for this emerging field. The program features two tracks:

  • MOBILE CONTENT: mobile browsing, video, news, sports, and entertainment, killer apps and content stories, mobile social micro-texting and content engagement
  • MOBILE MARKETING: mobile marketing and monetization, mobile ad networks, case studies, mobile search and SEO, mobile social media, and location-based media

The trade show floor will be a marketplace for organizations that provide mobile tools, technology, services and infrastructure for both mobile advertisers and content producers. ThinkMobile will provide a critical element that can only be found at a trade show -- it will also serve as a meeting place for face-to-face business development for entrepreneurs, VCs, partnerships and recruitment.
