MAXIMUS Executive, Dr. Jana Jones, Recognized for Commitment to Education

MAXIMUS (NYSE: MMS), a leading provider of government services, announced today that Vice President Dr. Jana Jones, a member of the Educational Services Team, has been recognized by two Idaho organizations for her commitment to public education.

Dr. Jones has been named Outstanding Educator of the Year from the College of Education at Idaho State University. The award recognizes individuals who have made a positive impact on public education in Idaho at the state level. In addition, Dr. Jones is a recipient of the prestigious A+ Friend of Education Award by the Idaho Education Association. The A+ Friend of Education Award expresses appreciation for individuals who have made a special and unique contribution to the cause of public education. The Idaho Education Association represents the interests of over 13,000 educators throughout the state.

As the Vice President of Projects and Programs for the Educational Services Division, Dr. Jones is currently working on the revisions and development of state models for MAXIMUS special education case management systems, TIENET^® and AutismPro™.

Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Jones served as the Chief Deputy Superintendent in Idaho and the Idaho State Director for Special Education where she partnered with the state Medicaid office to work with school districts on implementation of school based Medicaid programs. Dr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education in Special Education from Utah State University, and a Doctorate of Education, with a focus on Education Administration, from Idaho State University.
