ManTech Profit Falls; Cuts FY EPS Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - ManTech International Corp (MANT) Wednesday reported first-quarter net earnings of $9.6 million or $0.26 per share compared with $20 million or $0.55 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $452 million compared with $646 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.33 per share on revenues of $486.98 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues declined as a result of contracts supporting the U.S. Army, mainly as mission requirements slid in conjunction with the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2014, the company now expects earnings of $1.39 per share, down from prior guidance of $1.50 per share. Revenues are still expected to be $2 billion. Analysts expect earnings of $1.49 per share on revenues of $1.98 billion.

The company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 per share.
