Macrovision Deploys Downloadable Games for Yahoo! Europe; Fully Merchandised Service Offers Localised Content for Both Core and Casual Games

Macrovision Corporation (Nasdaq:MVSN) and Yahoo! Europetoday announced the re-launch of downloadable games sites acrossYahoo! Europe utilising Macrovision's complete digital distributionsolution. Macrovision's Trymedia division will manage the core andcasual game channels for Yahoo! Germany, Yahoo! Spain, Yahoo! France,Yahoo! Italy and Yahoo! UK & Ireland.

Within each of the five regions, Macrovision has added a newdownload functionality to Yahoo!'s existing Video Games channel,strengthening the offering for core gamers. Yahoo! has alsotransferred their existing "Download Games" channels focused on casualgames to the Macrovision solution. In addition to providing thedigital distribution technology for Yahoo! Europe, Macrovision willmanage the catalogue of hundreds of core and casual game titles.

With the Yahoo! rollout, Macrovision has implemented its nextgeneration e-commerce solution which includes a new storefront designand shopping cart features in French, Spanish, Italian, German andEnglish. The new storefront also supports local currencies. Paymentmethods range from all the top international credit cards to BankTransfer, PayPal, gift certificates and vouchers.
