Logicalis Achieves Cisco IoT Authorisation Partner Status

LONDON, Feb. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Logicalis, the international IT solutions and managed services provider, has been named as one of the first organisations to earn Cisco IoT Authorisation Partner status. Officially launched on Jan. 28, this authorisation allows Logicalis to bring new technologies and architectures to market to help its customers embrace digital transformation.

Bob Swallow, Managing Director, Logicalis UK, comments, "We're proud to be named as one of the first organisations to achieve this IoT partner status. As well as recognising our progress and capability, it is further proof of our continued commitment to our Cisco partnership and is critical in this rapidly evolving, multi-dimensional space.  We're looking forward to working with Cisco to help our customers embrace and realise the huge potential of the connected world through solutions tailored to their industry, environment, and circumstances."

Christian Werner, CEO for Logicalis in Germany added: "We are very pleased to have achieved this partner status. The Logicalis 2018-19 Global CIO survey reports that 46% of CIOs surveyed are currently using IoT in some part of their organisation, and many of those are our clients, so we are more than aware of the pace of progress in this area."

Cisco IoT Authorisation partners are required to have a minimum specified number of employees with experience delivering IoT solutions. They are also required to have completed rigourous role-based training and passed exams in IoT disciplines.

The benefits are clear according to Vince DeLuca, CEO for Logicalis US: "This status perfectly demonstrates Logicalis' ability to implement simple, secure, and scalable end-to-end IoT solutions based on architectures and open standards that integrate with third-party and legacy equipment. This reinforces our commitment to our customers not just at a local level, but globally."
