Linn Benton Lincoln Education Service District in Oregon Selects MAXIMUS TIENET® Special Education Case Management Solution

MAXIMUS, a leading provider of government services, announced today that the Linn Benton Lincoln Education Services District (LBL ESD) in Oregon has chosen its TIENET^® special education case management system. While the software will be hosted and supported by LBL ESD, any school district in the state of Oregon, including constituent districts, may purchase TIENET directly from LBL ESD.

TIENET^® will enable special education service providers, teachers and administrators to prepare Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for more than 12,000 special education students in the Consortium. The system provides the sophisticated tools to meet unique student needs and addresses critical compliance requirements in Oregon. By using a full case management system, staff will be able to collect, analyze and report student achievement data to improve student performance and develop reports and communication for parents, teachers, administrators, and School Board members. TIENET will include Federal, state, and census reporting as part of the base package. All data conversion from previous or current IEP systems is included. Optional modules include Spanish language translation, service capture (that can be used for billing programs like Medicaid) and Response to Intervention (RtI). All related LBL services, including training, customer support and software hosting, are also included.

MAXIMUS TIENET^® was selected through a rigorous competitive bidding process that included evaluations on a number of important selection criteria from stakeholders including teachers, administrators, providers, technology experts, as well as district, consortium, and state project personnel.
