Lincoln Financial Group Launches Microsite To Support "Lincoln's Legacy"

RADNOR, Pa., July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) announced today that it has launched a microsite in conjunction with "Lincoln's Legacy," a three-year initiative designed to educate children and adults on the historical relevance of President Abraham Lincoln, as well as the continued importance of freedom and opportunity to America's future. The microsite's domain is www.lincolnslegacy.lfg.com.

The company is launching Lincoln's Legacy this year to coincide with the 150^th anniversary of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. The initiative culminates in 2015, the year that marks the adoption of the 150^th anniversary of the 13^th Amendment to the Constitution.

The microsite also serves as the conduit by which people may upload their own oral history: a brief, videotaped interview where one person is interviewed by another about their life experiences.
