LHP Adds Expertise Around Powertrain Controls
COLUMBUS, Ind., June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As a clarification to an incorrect press release sent out last week, although LHP Engineering Solutions continues to be a National Instruments Alliance Partner, providing engine control systems and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems, LHP has not acquired any part of the NI business. LHP Engineering Solutions has expanded its capabilities and knowledge by adding expertise around powertrain controls and has established cutting edge technology that for direct interface with engines and subsystems with LHP Technology Solutions.
LHP is headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, and provides engineering services and integrated technology solutions to the automotive industry throughout North America and internationally.
LHP will offer powertrain controls-based technology as an offering from LHP Technology Solutions, a new business unit within LHP, Inc. LHP Technology Solutions offers a wide range of products, from ready-to-use, stand-alone direct injection systems, to fully customizable combustion analysis and engine control solutions.
The LHP Technology Solutions team also provides LHP with extended capability for building HIL test systems based on NI hardware. HIL test systems are used to automate testing of embedded applications such as engine controls and autonomous vehicles.
