Legg Mason Reports September Assets Under Management Of $709.1 Bln
(RTTNews) - Legg Mason, Inc. (LM) said its assets under management or AUM as of December end totaled $709.1 billion, up from $679.5 billion in the same month last year.
The company said this month's AUM included preliminary long-term inflows of $1.7 billion, reflecting fixed income inflows of $3.0 billion, which were partially offset by equity outflows of $1.3 billion. Liquidity inflows were $3.8 billion.
The company said December AUM included a negative foreign exchange impact of $2.0 billion.
