Lattice Slips To Loss

(RTTNews) - Lattice Semiconductor Corp (LSCC) on Monday reported first-quarter net loss of $53.3 million or $0.46 per share compared with a profit of $12 million or $0.10 per share last year.

Excluding acquisition-related costs and other items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.03 per share compared with $0.14 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $88.6 million compared with $96.6 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.03 per share on revenues of $83.7 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the second quarter, the company expects revenues of $120 million plus or minus 3% on a non-GAAP basis. Analysts expect revenues of $90.8 million.

For the full year 2015, the company projects revenues of $485 million plus or minus 3% on a non-GAAP basis. Analysts expect revenues of $369.5 million.
