Lannett Q2 Profit Soars; Lifts FY14 Revenue Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Lannett Co., Inc. (LCI) Tuesday reported second-quarter net income attributable to the company of $16.6 million or $0.46 per share, compared to $2.9 million or $0.10 per share in the same period last year.

On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.39 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales increased 84 percent to $67.33 million from $36.56 million last year, while six analysts expected revenues of $62.21 million.

Looking ahead, the company has raised full-year 2014 net sales to a range of $275 million to $285 million from its previous guidance of $245 million to $255 million. Analysts currently expect full-year sales of $248.64 million.
