Landstar System Inc. Reports 5% Rise In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Landstar System Inc. (LSTR) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $39.57 million, or $0.94 per share. This was higher than $37.86 million, or $0.88 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.2% to $892.83 million. This was up from $848.60 million last year.
