Lands' End Q1 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Apparel retailer Lands' End, Inc. (LE) Thursday reported a rise in first-quarter earnings, as revenues increased on the back of growth in the company's US business.

For the three months to 2 May 2014, net earnings advanced to $10.87 million, or $0.34 per share, from $7.34 million, or $0.23 per share a year earlier.

EBITDA, excluding certain items, totaled $23.8 million, compared with $17.6 million a year ago.

First-quarter revenues grew by 3.6 percent to $330.48 million from $319.03 million in the same period last year.

At the end of the quarter, the company operated 251 Lands' End Shops at Sears and 14 independent Inlet stores.
