L-3 Communications Promotes Lois G. Bailey to Vice President of International Licensing
With over 30 years of experience and training in export/importcompliance, Ms. Bailey has conducted due diligence on over 40acquisitions to determine their inherent export/import complianceposture and provide risk assessment to L-3 management. Herresponsibilities also include the training and education of L-3personnel in U.S. export/import laws and regulations, and in L-3'scorporate policies. In addition, she is responsible for U.S. Customsissues and centralized management of all of L-3's internationalconsultants, distributors and representatives. Prior to joining L-3,Ms. Bailey was responsible for export/import compliance andinternational security issues for Lockheed Martin's C3I sector.Previously, Lois worked at the Loral and Fairchild WestonCorporations.
"Lois is an expert on international licensing as well ascompliance and risk-management issues and has led this importantbusiness area since L-3 was formed," said Gen. (Ret.) Adams. "She hasbeen able to seamlessly integrate the key export/import functions ofnewly acquired companies into L-3 and we look forward to hercontributions going forward as we continue to execute on ourstrategy."
Ms. Bailey has received numerous certificates of training from theDepartment of Defense (DoD); Defense Security Institute; GeorgeWashington University, School of Business and Public Management; andthe Defense Acquisition University. In addition, she is a professionalmember of Aerospace Industries Association, National DefenseIndustrial Association and the Association of Old Crows.
