Korian - Medica : Success of the Option for the Dividend Payment in Newly Issued Shares with More Than 73% of Subscription

On 31 July 2014, Korian - Medica (Paris:KORI) will distribute a total of €0.60 per share including an option for the payment of €0.30 in shares based on a price of €26.42 per share. This option for the payment in shares is a success, with a subscription of more than 73%. As a consequence, Korian – Medica will issue 648,650 new shares, that will be delivered and admitted to trading on the Euronext Paris market on 31 July 2014. They will bear dividend rights as from retroactively 1 January 2014 and will have the same rights as the ordinary outstanding shares.
The cash distribution amounts to €M29.8 and will be paid out to the shareholders on 31 July 2014. Korian - Medica‘s share capital thus amounts to €395,187,615 and is divided into 79,037,523 shares.

Demonstrating the confidence of its share ownership, this transaction reinforces Korian - Medica’s equity by €M17.1.
