Keynote Systems’ Mobile Monitoring Solution Selected by Voxiva, a Leading Provider of Mobile Health Solutions, as Technology Partner for the Text4baby Campaign

Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), the global leader in on-demand mobile and Internet test & measurement solutions for continuously improving the online experience, today announced that Voxiva, Inc., which develops and markets global mobile health solutions for the healthcare industry, has selected Keynote Mobile Application Perspective® over Air (MAP over Air) to monitor the performance of its SMS-based healthcare services.

"We selected MAP over Air because it’s the only service of its kind that monitors SMS services from an end user’s perspective,” said Grant Elliott, chief operations officer of Voxiva. "We use MAP over Air to monitor our services and detect problems before our users do. MAP over Air helps us identify whether a problem is with our own application, with the SMS aggregator or with a specific carrier. MAP over Air acts like an independent policeman, allowing us to better manage our suppliers and hence our service.”

Keynote’s first-of-its-kind SMS monitoring service was created to meet growing industry demand for a solution that offers increased visibility into the performance, availability and delivery of messages sent via Common Short Codes (text messaging).

Voxiva’s mobile health solutions allow healthcare organizations to engage consumers in managing their health and living healthier lives.

On February 4, 2010, Voxiva launched text4baby, a free mobile information service designed to reduce infant mortality and promote healthy birth outcomes among underserved populations in the United States. Text4baby provides women free SMS text messages each week that focus on topics critical to maternal and child health. Keynote MAP over Air is monitoring the performance of this service as well. Said Elliott, "As we roll out text4baby, we can’t afford to have people unable to access our service due to problems with the SMS infrastructure. Keynote MAP over Air will help us keep our service operating effectively.”

Text4baby is made possible through a broad public-private partnership. Founding partners include the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition, Johnson & Johnson, Voxiva, the CTIA Wireless Foundation, and Grey HealthCare Group. U.S. government partners include the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the Department of Health and Human Services. Johnson & Johnson is the Founding Sponsor, and Premier Sponsors include WellPoint, Pfizer and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. The mobile health platform is provided by Voxiva and free messaging services are generously provided by participating wireless service providers. Implementation partners include BabyCenter, Danya International, Syniverse, Keynote Systems and The George Washington University.

"We’re pleased to help Voxiva optimize the performance and availability of its SMS solutions in this very worthy program,” said Anshu Agarwal, vice president of marketing at Keynote.
