KCI Announces Investor and Analyst Meeting on September 17

Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE:KCI), a leading global advanced wound care and therapeutic surfaces company, today announced details of its Analyst Day event on September 17, 2007 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. Catherine Burzik, President and CEO of KCI will host the event along with other key members of the senior leadership team. The event will include a comprehensive update on the company’s business and growth strategies as well as a review of KCI’s research and development initiatives. The opening presentation will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. EDT. The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. William Ennis, who is the president-elect and a founding board member for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) and a key opinion leader in the field of advanced wound healing. Other physician panelists are scheduled to include Dr. Todd Rasmussen, whose pioneering work has been instrumental in reducing infection in combat injuries, Dr. Grant Bochicchio, a leading trauma surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery and Director of Clinical and Outcomes Research for the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and Dr. David Armstrong, who is Professor of Surgery at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago and director of the renowned Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR).
