Jonathan James Resigns as Chief Operating Officer at Com Hem Following the Successful Transformation of the Company
Regulatory News:
Jonathan James has decided to resign from his position as Chief Operating Officer at Com Hem. He will leave by the end of June 2016 after two and a half years with the company.
In that time, Com Hem has gone from being a private to a public company, executed one of the fastest roll-outs of TiVo in Europe with 35% of the customer base now on TiVo, upgraded its broadband to become the fastest in Sweden* while reducing churn significantly thanks to a tight focus on customer satisfaction. In addition the company has entered the business-to-business market by acquiring Phonera.
These actions have accelerated the growth and improved the company’s cashflow by close to SEK 1bn in 2015 alone.
Jon’s direct reports will now work directly for the Chief Executive Officer as part of the planned transition.
"I would like to thank Jon for playing an instrumental role in the rapid development of Com Hem, in particular the transformation of our customer satisfaction. His drive and extensive experience from the UK have been very beneficial, as intended when he joined the Com Hem team for this phase of development of the Company ”, says Anders Nilsson, CEO of Com Hem.
"I feel proud of what we have achieved at Com Hem. With our new brand successfully launched, the time felt right to leave for the next challenge. The company is in excellent shape, with a strong plan and an outstanding depth of talent and I am entirely confident that Com Hem’s success will continue”, says Jon James.
