JA Solar Holdings Q4 Profit Increases - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (JASO) reported that its fourth-quarter net income was RMB 166.1 million or $26.8 million, up from RMB 139.5 million or $22.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2013. Earnings per ADS were RMB 2.55 or $0.41, compared to RMB 1.92 or $0.31 in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Non-GAAP earnings per ADS were RMB 1.74 or $0.28, compared to RMB 0.94 or $0.15 in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Net revenue was RMB 3.6 billion or $576.4 million, an increase of 65.3% from last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.32 per share and revenues of $538.99 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the first quarter of 2015, the Company expects total cell and module shipments to be in the range of 680 MW to 750 MW. Full year 2015 shipments are expected to be in the range of 3.6 GW to 4.0 GW, including 200 MW to 300 MW of modules shipments to the Company's downstream projects.
