Isis Pharma Posts Huge Loss In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc.'s (ISIS) fourth-quarter 2013 net loss widened to $24.3 million, or $0.21 per share, from a $2.6 million, or $0.03 per share loss last year.

Revenue for the three months was $42.2 million, compared with $19.9 million in the 2012 period. Isis said its revenue fluctuates based on the nature and timing of payments under agreements with its partners, including license fees, milestone-related payments and other payments.

On average, 10 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected loss per share of $0.17, on $34.28 million in revenue for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
