IRON Strategic Income Fund Tops Morningstartm High-Yield Bond Category for Six Consecutive Months
IRON Financial announced today that the IRON Strategic Income Fund (NSDQ: IFUNX, IRNIX), has now been ranked number one for six consecutive months as of April 1, 2010 in the High-Yield Bond Fund category by financial research firm Morningstar Inc. The Fund, launched in 2006, is ranked first out of 487 funds rated by Morningstar in this category. This ranking continues a trend of being ranked number one that began in November of 2009, the fund's first opportunity for the ranking following its 3rd anniversary. The ranking is based on the Fund’s three year total return. As of March 31, 2010, the Fund has received a 5-Star overall Morningstar Rating™ based on Morningstar’s rating metrics over a three-year period in the same category. This also is a continuation of the trend that began in November 2009. In addition, the Fund received a Morningstar Return rating of High and a Morningstar Risk rating of Low – the most favorable ratings in those categories.
