Investors Capital Holdings, RCS Capital To Merge - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Investors Capital Holdings, Ltd. (ICH) has inked a definitive merger deal with RCS Capital Corp. (RCAP), under which ICH and its divisions, including Investors Capital Corp., a four-time recipient of the Investment Adviser Magazine Broker-Dealer of the Year Award, for about $52.5 million comprised of cash and RCAP stock.

Through Investors Capital Corp., ICH has more than $8 billion in assets under administration across around 190,000 client accounts through more than 450 independent financial advisors located in over 300 branches in the U.S. Following the merger, ICH is expected to continue to operate autonomously under its current management structure as part of the RCAP family of companies under the "Investors Capital" brand.

The transaction may be complete in the first quarter of 2014.
