Intertek Expands South American Services with Acquisition of Chile Laboratory Testing Company

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to a wide range of industries worldwide, has acquired Labs & Testing Chile S.A. (L&T). The addition of L&T’s expertise and capabilities expands and complements existing Intertek services in Chile and in the Latin American region.

L&T offers laboratory testing, inspection and other technical services which support clients in a diverse range of key markets, including fishing, food & agricultural, environmental, petrochemicals, energy, minerals and more.

In-house capabilities include analytical testing, microbiology, non-destructive testing, field inspection and additional expert services.
