International Game Technology Explores Strategic Alternatives - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Las Vegas-based slot machine maker International Game Technology (IGT), in its statement today, said it regularly considers, and occasionally explores, a wide range of strategic alternatives, including but not limited to business combinations, changes to its capital structure and adjustments to its businesses' portfolio, with the aim of maximizing shareholder value.

Currently, the IGT board and senior management are into such an exploration, while no decisions were made by the board on any particular alternative available to the firm and there can be no assurances that any transaction or other strategic change would be reached. IGT would not discuss or reveal developments regarding this general subject unless and until the board has approved a definitive course of action.
