Intermec Names Dennis Faerber as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations
Intermec, Inc. (NYSE:IN) today announced the appointment of Dennis
Faerber as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations.
Faerber brings operational experience to the Intermec organization,
particularly in the areas of supply chain transformation, process
development, technical operations, manufacturing systems, quality
operations, materials management, and engineering.
Faerber joins Intermec from Applied Materials, where he held the
position of Corporate Vice President of global supply chain operations.
Before Applied Materials, he served as KLA-Tencor’s
Group Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, responsible for
developing and implementing the company’s
quality strategy. Previous to KLA-Tencor, Faerber held senior management
positions at Advanced Energy, Agilent Technologies, and Hewlett-Packard.
Faerber will report to Patrick Byrne, Intermec President and Chief
Executive Officer. "Dennis has a proven track
record of operational excellence and supply chain transformation. This
