INSYS Group Ranks #16 on Crain's New York Largest Women-Owned Companies List

ROCHELLE PARK, N.J., Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- INSYS Group has taken the #16 spot on Crain's New York List of women-owned companies, based on its reported 2012 revenue. INSYS was also recognized as one of the top five companies with the largest percentage in revenue change.

The list recognizes the most important job creators in the New York area, which is home to the largest number of women-owned firms in the US. As a group the top 25 firms saw cumulative revenue growth of 8.9% in 2012 for a total of $2.2 billion. They are also projecting even more growth in 2013, with revenue expected to increase by another 10.3%. This growth reflects nationwide momentum for women-owned firms, as more and more are reaching the million-dollar revenue mark. It's a trend that can be attributed to the improving economy, as well as a growing number of female role models and improved networking opportunities.
