Insight Profit Tops Estimate, Revenue Misses

(RTTNews) - Insight Enterprises Inc (NSIT) Thursday reported second-quarter net earnings of $27 million or $0.66 per share, compared with $26.5 million or $0.62 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.74 per share.

Revenue for the quarter was flat with last year at $1.4 billion.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters projected earnings of $0.72 per share on revenue of $1.48 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For fiscal year 2014, the company now expects earnings of $2.02 to $2.10 per share and sales to increase in the low-single digit range. The company earlier estimated earnings of $1.97 to $2.07 per share.

Analysts project earnings of $2.05 per share on revenue growth of 5.1%.
