Ignyta Names Jacob Chacko CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Ignyta Inc (RXDX), an oncology precision medicine biotechnology company, Friday named Jacob Chacko as its chief financial officer. Chacko replaces Zachary Hornby, who has been appointed to the newly-created role of chief operating officer.

Chacko joins Ignyta from TPG Capital, a private investment firm, where he served as a vice president focused primarily on healthcare and digital media since August 2008.

Chacko also received an inducement stock option award under Ignyta's Employment Inducement Incentive Award Plan. The inducement award consists of an option to purchase an aggregate of 250,000 shares of Ignyta common stock.
